The effects of obstructed lymphatics are studied by Doctor Sam Threefoot, director of the Touro Research Institute and principal investigator of the angiology laboratory. A grant of $181,522 from the Hartford Foundation has been awarded Touro Infirmary for continued studies of the role of the lymphatic system and disease states produced by disordered lymph flow.
