1961 Press Photo Steve Stroupe reunited with his mother Virginia Frances Falcon

Mother and Son are reunited in New Orleans after six years of separation. Fifteen-year-old Steve Stroupe hitch-hiked 900 miles to New Orleans from Bluefield, Virginia, to join his mother, Mrs. Virginia Frances Falcon of Laplace. They were reunited at juvenile headquarters.
