Gilbert Smith has been installed as president of the Jefferson Parish Junior Chamber of Commerce at the House of Lee Restaurant. Other officers installed were: Shelby Powell, first vice-president; Percy Bourgeois, second vice-president; Chester Hosch, secretary; Rodney Barber, treasurer; Steve Vassil, Larry Gast, Chuck Potter, Fred Carmouche, and Leo Florane, directors.
