1965 Press Photo Lawrence Cardinal Shehan welcomed in New Orleans by prelates

Greeting Lawrence Cardinal Shehan, Archbishop of Baltimore (center), at New Orleans International Airport Monday night are Archbishop John P. Cody of New Orleans (right) and Auxiliary Bishop L. Abel Caillout. The cardinal will officiate at ceremonies in St. Louis Basillica at 11 a.m. Tuesday, during which he will confer the pallium on Archbishop Cody, recognizing the archbishop's position as metropolitan of the Province of New Orleans.
