Description
Annual Easter parade gets under way on Esplanade Avenue. With ladies clothed head to toe in green to honor New Orleans' Irish heritage, the 14th annual Easter Parade led by Mrs. Germaine Cazenave Wells promenaded through the French Quarter yesterday morning. Beginning at the old Arnaud mansion on Esplanade and Chartres, the parade wound its way up Royal to Canal and back down Chartres to St. Louis Cathedral for noon Mass.
