Lialo Honorees--These were some of the prominent participants at the annual Gridiron Banquet Thursday night at Dooky Chase's where Louisiana Interscholastic Athletic and Literary Organization District All-Stars were cited. Seated, from left, Ernest J. Wright, former Xavier star who was the principal speaker and Coach J.J. Piper, whose Central Memorial Spartans were runner ups in District Five. Standing, Houston Booth, Central quarterback; Coach Henry Crosby and Glenn Brooks of Lincoln. Crosby and Piper were named "Coach of the Year" in their respective leagues.
