Chi Eta Phi Sorority - Hilda Williams and Verdelle Bellamy. The new president of Louisiana's first chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., Mrs. Hilda C. Williams, thumbs through a history of the international nursing organization with Mrs. Verdelle B. Bellamy of Atlanta, Georgia, national sorority organizer, during club initiation ceremonies at the Royal Orleans Hotel over the weekend. Mrs. Bellamy conducted the initiation ceremonies for the New Orleans chapter, known as Rho Chi. Mrs. Williams and 13 other New Orleans women were initiated as charter members of the organization.
