New York - A new process developed in Israel for de-salting sea water cheaply may make the world's deserts bloom within the next 10 years. This is the hope held out by Dr. Alexander Zarchin, a Russian refugee who has been working on the process in Israel since 1956, and David Karr, president of the Fairbanks Whitney Corporation, which has the world rights for constructing the plants.

Photo is dated 1960.

Photo measures 7 x 9 inches.
