The Reverend Charles M. Seymour Jr. has become the 21st rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, and will officiate at services Sunday morning for the first time as rector. The Reverend Mr. Seymour succeeds the Reverend Canon William S. Turner who retired Wednesday. Canon Turner, who had served as Trinity's rector for 22 years, has assumed duties on the Episcopal diocesan staff as Canon to the Ordinary (canon to the bishop, the Retired Reverend Girault M. Jones, Episcopal bishop of Louisiana.)
