Some 2300 lucky safety patrol boys were to receive safety awards from "Davy Crockett" (Fess Parker) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Pelican Stadium. Talking over plans are Dr. James F. Redmond, superintendent of the Orleans Parish School Board; Weston Moreau, fifth grade student at St. John the Baptist School, and Monsignor Henry C. Bezou, archdiocesan superintendent of schools.
