1962 Press Photo Jack Pizzano and Sgt. Rankin hold crossing guards meeting

Speaking to school crossing guards Monday at Rabouin auditorium were Jack Pizzano, director of Health, Safety and Physical Education for Orleans Parish Schools, and Sgt. Jared Rankin, school traffic coordinator. The guards were told to avoid holding up trucks and bumper-to-bumper traffic on the job. Guards' courtesy and good guard-driver relationships were also discussed.
