1954 Press Photo Tool left on scene of Schwegmann's Burglary, Airline Highway

The above tool is one of the tools left on the scene of the Schwegmann's Burglary, Airline Highway, May 3, 1954. Investigating officers believe this tool recently purchased, by the burglars or perhaps stolen from a business place, where wooden crates, are handled. The tool is a Stanley make, number 1460, 18" in length, 1 1/2" wide blade, the handle is octagon shape, 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
