Just before departure on a three-site tour, W. P. Sevier (right) of Tallulah, president of the Louisiana Bankers Association, and H. B. "Joe" Martin, Alexandria, head of the state conservation service, make farewells at Union Passenger Terminal. They are part of a group of 175 Louisiana bankers and farmers who are to make a tour of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. The annual trip is for the purpose of observing how other states manage conservation farming.
