Various aspects of computer graphic displays were discussed during today's session of the third annual Design Automation Workshop at the Jung Hotel. Lawrence M. Scholten, manager of the Voice and Visual Equipment Laboratories of the Philco Corporation, Willow Grove, Pa., explained the e-systems can immediately interpret variations in design made by a designer who has merely drawn his new ideas with electronic pencil onto an acthode ray tube similar to a television tube.
