A group of newspaper editors and publishers visiting New Orleans yesterday called for "new and stronger" ties between the people of North and South America. The visitors, on their way to attend the Inter-American Newspaper Association conference October 2 in Brazil, said the need for greater "common ground" between the peoples of the two continents is "imperative."
