1969 Press Photo Rivergate officials attend W.J. Amoss Room dedication.

The W.J. Amoss Room, recently completed hospitality room in The Rivergate, has been dedicated formally in ceremonies featuring the unveiling of an oil portrait of the late port director. The expansive oval room is carpeted with a thick gold rug and furnished with handsome gold leather chairs and a huge rosewood meeting table which seats 20.
