Mrs. Ruth H. Logan and Miss Claire J. Kloor of New Orleans, who are secretaries to the Branch Office of the Bureau, Chief Postal Inspector here, were given commendations today in recognition of sustained superior performance of duties for the past several years. Miss Kloor, who resides at 3418 Livingston, was awarded a quality step salary increase, effective immediately, and Mrs. Logan was awarded a check for $250.00 and a certificate recognizing her performance. The awards were authorized by H.B. Montague, Chief Postal Inspector of the Post Department in Washington. The presentation was made today in the Inspection Service Office at New Orleans by Jack V. Staples, Postal Inspector in Charge of the area covering Louisiana and Texas.
