A replica of the "Spirit of St. Louis" hangs in the new International Wing of the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. It was in St. Louis that Charles A. Lindbergh received the financial and moral support he needed to build his plane and fly it alone across the Atlantic 50 years ago this May.
