Patrick is in Janet Paci's 1st grade class Patrick Harrell, 7, writes a page full of "F's" and then will draw 5 things that start with the letter "F" while his grandmother Carol Ory watches. Grandparents were invited to attend school with their grandchildren Wednesday at St. Mary Magdalen School in Metairie. The day started with a mass and ceremony to honor the grandparents. The school did this because they feel grandparents are a big part of the family. They design it to fall during Catholic Education Week. This is the 2nd year for grandparents day. About 160 grandparents and parents attended.
