Happily accepting a proclamation from Mayor Victor Schiro designating Sunday, October 19 as "Bells of St. Louis Day" in New Orleans, are left to right, the Reverend Joseph McDermott, O.M.I., general chairman of the St. Louis Cathedral festival; Harvey Busch, newly-appointed sales manager of the Port of New Orleans; and the Very Reverend Nicholas J. Tanaskovic, O.M.I., pastor of the Cathedral. This year, the historic steeple bells will ring out in a salute to the Port. Beginning at 1 p.m., the Cathedral festival will again be held on Chartres street in front of Jackson Square and the old church.
