Description
State Representative Thomas Russell of New Orleans is besieged by angry landlords after he had taken the floor in the Senate chamber at Baton Rouge in defense of rent control. About 300 landlords booed and cheered throughout the session. It ended with the rent decontrol issue being tossed back to the whole Senate by the committee on affairs of the city of New Orleans.
