The remodeled and redecorated New Orleans Country Club will be shown at a members' reception Sunday at 4 p.m., according to Gerald L. Andrus, president. A half-million dollar capital improvement program, including redesign of the golf course and building of a new golf building has been going on there since June at 5024 Pontchartrain Boulevard. Graceful elegance featured the grand ballroom after the extensive remodeling and rehabilitation of the Club in 1960. It was at this time that the imposing chandelier was installed. Improvements at the remodeled and redecorated New Orleans Country Club include a more spacious and more beautiful main lounge (above) and an attractive private dining room (below). These improvements were included in a half-million-dollar program.
