Only a few travelers occupy the waiting area at New Orleans International Airport late Tuesday. A spokesman for an airline at the airport said Tuesday was an unusually slow day for the airport, even though Tuesdays are normally light air traffic days. Fewer people were in the lobby, he said, because of the flight cancellations.
