To The Fleetest - Awards are made here to the scratch and handicap winners after the annual 5 1/2 mile Jackson Day Run Saturday by R. H. Rockhold, center. Rockhold is director of the New Orleans' 250 birthday anniversary celebrations and the Jackson Day Run was the first sporting event of the year held in conjunction with the celebration. Dan Fuselier, left, won the scratch prize with 27:48.5, breaking his own record. He represented the NOAC. Bobby Sahuque, right, a Redemptorist High School junior, took the handicap trophy for being first across the line.
