1964 Press Photo Public Bulk Handling Plant, Mississippi River Gulf Outlet

Flooded by mud and water from a broken levee, the Public Bulk Handling Plant on the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet had to be closed down. The Bestwall Gypsum Company yard adjacent to the bulk plant also was flooded but is able to continue operation.
