1973 Press Photo $1.5 million stacker at the Public Bulk Terminal - noc09914

What appears to be an elevated miniature railroad with a slope near the middle is really a $1.5 million stacker put in by the Dock Board at the Public Bulk Terminal. At the right out of this picture are tons of coke to be exported by Kaiser Aluminum Corporation. Lieutenant Governor James E. Fitzmorris Jr. pressed a button putting the stacker in operation at a Tuesday morning ceremony there.
