J.R. Picard, Russell Elliott, Hancock County, Mississippi. Hurricane Camille ripped Hancock County asunder and the road to recovery is not proving an easy one to travel. The enormous task of putting the county back on its feet and steering it in the right direction to begin the journey back was not easy. Many individuals, agencies, and organizations rallied to the task. To acknowledge their efforts the county has issued a proclamation and, in surprise presentation, the first of these was awarded last week to the General Electric Co. in Mississippi. Accepting the proclamation on behalf of his company is J.R. Picard, manager, Management and Technical Services Division, left. Making presentation is Russell Elliott, president, Hancock County Board of Supervisors.
