Professional Photographers of America - Award Ceremony. Harper Leiper, William Robert , executive secretary to Mayor Schiro, John E. Kuhlman, PP of Louisiana executive manager. The 1969 annual convention of the Professional Photographers of America, expected to draw at least 4500 persons, will be held in New Orleans, it was announced Monday by Harper Leiper, Houston, Texas, the organization's president. Leiper made the announcement of the site of the convention, and its simultaneous annual International Exposition of Professional Photography and National Industrial Photographic Conference, at the concluding session of the 16th annual convention of the Professional Photographers of Louisiana, Inc., at the Fontainebleau Motor Hotel.
