Girl Scout Council-Mmes. A.E. Carr and John Parker, New Orleans. Clarence Scheps, president of the Southeast Louisiana Girl Scout Council, presents service pins to Mrs. A.E. Carr Jr. of Slidel, left, and Mrs. John Parker, New Orleans troop leader, at a council meeting yesterday. Girl Scouts in the 14-parish Southeast Louisiana Girl Scout Council reached an all-time membership high of 17,800 in 1962. This was reported yesterday by council president Dr. Clarence Scheps at the council's annual meeting at Lake Vista Methodist Church.
