1963 Press Photo Mrs. McDonald Stephens and Group Return to U.S. on S.S. France

Following a month's tour of Europe, this group returned to the United States aboard the S.S. France. Pictured on board are (from left) Miss Margaret Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Francis Murphy Jr.; Miss Ann Lee Stephens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McDonald Stephens; Miss Stephens' grandmother, Mrs. E.A. Stephens of Irvington, Virginia, and Miss Stephens' mother. During their stay abroad, they visited France, England, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Holland. Miss Stephens leaves in mid-September for Chatham, Virginia, where she will be a member of the sophomore class at Chatham Hall.
