1941 Press Photo Charles H. Mottier, Chief Engineer Of Illinois Central Railroad

Charles H. Mottier, Chicago, will become chief engineer of the Illinois Central Railroad effective July 1, it was announced today. Since 1935, Mr. Mottier, who is known in New Orleans, has been assistant to the vice-president and chief engineer, Fred L. Thompson, who will continue as Vice President in charge of the engineering department.
