1972 Press Photo Repairs, I-10 Metairie Road Overpass, Pontchartrain Expressway

Finishing touches are put on the I-10 Metairie Road overpass roadbed before the concrete is left to set. The overpass, which collapsed last September, has been closed for repairs since March 27. A Highway Department spokesman said today the overpass should be open to traffic in about two weeks.
