1973 Press Photo Tugboats on the Mississippi River below New Orleans ride herd

Tugboats on the Mississippi River below New Orleans ride herd on a huge floating oil rig which broke free from its moorings Friday afternoon. The rig, which was under construction, floated a mile downstream before it was secured. No one was injured in the accident and there were no immediate reports of damage to the rig.
