This view, in the board room of the Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated stock brokerage, also shows portions of boards with American Stock Exchange prices, commodity prices, the Dow Jones news board and television screens with a variety of other stock figures. The "Big Board" figures are displayed by a "transjet" system involving small jets of air, tiny movable discs and ultraviolet light.
