Vieux Carre Commission hearing - The Vieux Carre Commission Monday afternoon voted to inform the City Council it does not object to the rezoning of the Sisters of the Holy Family property to permit construction of a $5 million French Quarter hotel. Action by the commission came at a meeting in the Louisiana State Museum Board room at which proponents and opponents of the move presented arguments.
