Description
Mosca's Restaurant , Louisiana - In splendid isolation only 17 miles from New Orleans, the Mosca family has a restaurant that duplicates a country restaurant they loved in Italy. We all now know the affinities of the Italian and Creole traditions; furthest point of genius. The great Mosca New Orleans-Italian dishes include marinated crab, baked oysters, shrimp in garlic and olive oil, homemade pasta with brilliant bordelaise or robust red sauce, homemade ravioli, and grand chicken cacciatore. Mosca's wanted people to come not because the place was pretty or fashionable, but for the food. And most of the time all the tables at this classic small country restaurant are taken up by New Orleanians who revere great food. Mosca's is one of the best and one of the most joyful restaurants in the world.
