Description
There is too much hopelessness in the minds of patients, physicians and the general public of the United States concerning arthritis. If this attitude were changed, seven out of 10 crippling deformities resulting from the disease could be prevented. This note was sounded in New Orleans today by Dr. Glen McDonald of Washington, chief of the Chronic Disease division of the United States Public Health Service.

Photo is dated 1966.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
