1949 Press Photo Dr. Hans Roger Madol pinning Order of Nassau on Augusto Miceli

Doctor Hans Roger Madol of Luxembourg is shown pinning the Order of Nassau on Augusto P. Miceli, 1424 Octavia Street for services rendered to Luxembourg during the war. An Orleanian today received a "rare and high" decoration from the tiny country of Luxembourg. Augusto P. Miceli, of 1424 Octavia, received the "Knights Officer with Crown" of the Order of Nassau from Hans Roger Madol of Luxembourg. Doctor Madol, Luxembourg's commissioner of information in London and editor of the United Nations yearbook, made the presentation in the name of Grand Duchess Charlotte, who visited here in 1943.
