Description
Louisiana Superdome - The first group of women to tour to Domed Stadium construction site did so Thursday, flanked by Richard Carr, supervisor of the site office, and Rhaoul Guillaume, both civil engineers. The women were mostly secretaries from the Stadium Commission and architects and engineers offices. - So what if women's lib can't crack the men's grills in town? Women got in on something much more spectacular Thursday, the ground floor (and all the other floors) of the Domed Stadium. To do so they had to don hard hats, tromp down the dusty roadways that are part of construction work, climb a 25 foot ladder, and cross a mud bridge across a deep chasm.

Photo is dated 1972.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
