Following the memorial mass and services for the Honorable Henry Edward Dormer, ensign 4th Battalion 60th regiment, King's Royal Rifle Corps (Royal Green Jackets) their excellencies, Governor General George P. Vanier and Madame Vanier gathered in the lady's chapel, St. Peter's Cathedral. Left to right: Mr. T. J. Smeenk Chairman, Madame Vanier, The Governor General, Reverend V. Ambrose McInnes, O.P., Director of the Tulane Catholic Center and Retired Reverend J.A. Feeney, Rector of the Cathedral. Father McInnes spoke at the formal dinner which followed the reception.
