Jamaican Prime Minister Michael Manley (center) chats with Kaiser Board chairman Edgard S. Under the agreement, the Jamaican government purchased 51 percent of Kaiser's bauxite holdings on the Caribbean island which guarantees a supply of aluminum-producing bauxite for Kaiser's Louisiana plants for the nest 40 years.
