1958 Press Photo Garnet Jennings and Lt. Col. Walter Trauger with award

Mrs. Garnet G. Jennings, a federal civil service employee of the OSH. 4400 Dauphine street, New Orleans, Louisiana receives a cash reward of $35,000 and a department of the army suggestion award certificate from Lt. Col. Walter M Trauger, OSA Quartermaster representative. The award was based on Mrs. Jennings' adopted idea proposing the assembling of first aid kits for use in the event of an emergency air attack, in the New Orleans Army Terminal Dispensary.
