The community center, when completed, will house a supermarket, barber shop, drug store and other shops to take care of ordinary living needs. Center will cost $500,000 when completed. Orleans levee board, which has jurisdiction over Lake Vista, expects the center will be tenanted within two years when the population of the subdivision will be sufficiently large to support businesses.
