1970 Press Photo PACECO plans to construct plant in the Bayou Bernard Industrial

PACECO, a division of Fruehauf Corporation, has announced plans to construct a $9 million plant on a 100-acre site north of Gulfport in the Bayou Bernard Industrial Park. The plant which will employ 700 when in full operation, will manufacture specialized cranes for ship and dockside handling of large shipping containers.
