1970 Press Photo Doctor Richard Oster, recipient of Valparaiso Alumni Award

Doctor Richard C. Oster - The Valparaiso University Alumni Distinguished Service Award for 1970 will be awarded to the New Orleans alumnus, Doctor Richard Oster, on October 25. He will travel to the university in Valparaiso, Indiana for a weekend of homecoming activities of which this presentation will be a part. Doctor Oster has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Valparaiso University since 1959 and presently serves on the executive committee of the board. Prior to this he was the alumni representative n the university's national advisory board. He also has been active in local alumni activities and has established a scholarship for students from this area.
