Lassen, right, president of the board of the Louisiana Hospital for Women and Children which was dedicated yesterday, addresses a group that gathered for the ceremony at 1825 Veterans Hwy. Jefferson Parish officials and leaders of the new Louisiana Hospital for Women and Children dedicated the first phase of the hospital's building at 1825 Veterans hwy. yesterday, and already there is talk of a second phase. The privately endowed hospital, in its first phase, has 17 beds and 25 rooms to handle maternity cases.
