Eli H. Lee - head of steel union local. Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. is being asked to reopen two segments of Kaiser's Chalmette Works if union members accept pay cuts. Reopening both segments would put 200 or more people back to work at the Chalmette plant, union official Eli H. Lee said Friday.
