1952 Press Photo New branch of Modern Appliance and Supply Company in Jackson

The Modern Appliance and Supply Company, Inc. of New Orleans has opened this new branch at 950 S. Galletin St., Jackson, Miss., Buford Myers, president, announced Wednesday. The official opening, during which prizes and souvenirs are offered, continues through Thursday. The branch will handle a variety of home appliances, furniture and building supplies. It will be managed by Lloyd Lagarderre and Edward Backer.
