1975 Press Photo Fire Caused by Police Tear Gas Canister Engulfs Mobile Home

Tear gas and smoke mix above a mobile home at 4038 Jefferson Why. Monday after state police on a driver's license pickup detail saw what they thought was a gun pointed out the window of the trailer. A tear gas canister fired into the trailer set it afire. State police stated that a window had been knocked out of the back of the trailer and it there had been an occupant when the excitement started, no one was found when the tear gas lifted and the fire was extinguished.
