"It's like an epidemic- it's hard to tell just when the problem arises," the chairman of the Committee on Mental Health of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers said here today in reference to the steadily escalating dilemma of drug abuse the among the young. Dr. William C. Hollister, a social psychiatrist on the faculty of the University of North Carolina's School of Medicine, said the constantly increasing amount of concern on local levels has prompted the national P-TA organization to introduce a nation wide project to combat the problem.
